Want to make your Facebook ads stand out?

Facebook can be a tricky master, we all know that!

So have you ever seen Facebook ads that really stand out, because they have bold text, or italics, and thought “why can’t I do that?”.

There you are, hitting Command B or Control B, highlighting the text, pressing bold, and still nothing happens.

It feels like Facebook has gifted some people the ability to jazz up their posts and ads, but not you.

Well, that’s not the case.

Let me share with you the inside scoop on how to achieve these stand out posts and ads.

How to add bold and italics to your Facebook ads

The secret to this is that you have to create your copy off Facebook.

Now most of us do this anyway, writing our ad copy in Word or Google docs, so that we can get it 100% correct before building out our ads, so this nifty little trick shouldn’t be too much hassle.

You need to head to YayText.com – and don’t panic, it’s incredibly simple to use.

I’m going to break it down for you though.

Once you have your copy finalised for your ads and you’re ready to start building out your campaign, open up your Facebook Ads Manager in one tab, your copy document in another tab, and finally YayText.com in another tab.

Copy and paste the text (from your ad copy) that you want to make bold or italic, and paste it into the box that says Your Text.

Then you just need to scroll down the page to find the style of text and font that you prefer.

You can either hit preview to check it out, or you click copy if you know it’s exactly what you want.

Take the text you have copied and paste it straight into Ads Manager, or into your Facebook post.

Preview your ad to make sure it looks exactly as you want it to.

What could go wrong?

You do need to bear in mind that the text generated by YayText can look different across various devices, apps, and operating systems. This means that there is a chance that Android devices might display your text as weird symbols so be sure to look at the preview before deciding to use the YayText copy.

Are there any alternatives?

Yes! There’s quite a few similar offerings, but again, do check how your chosen styling works across all devices.
