Getting the Facebook pixel installed on your website is the number one most important thing to do, if you’re thinking about running Facebook ads – whether that’s now or at some point in the future.
That little piece of code will sit in the back end of your website gathering the Facebook IDs of everyone that visits your site…
BUT if you don’t build an audience at the same time as installing the pixel, Facebook has nowhere to store all of that information, so that’s as important!
